Who is Maxx Kremer

Maxx Kremer's Google ProfileI have 12 years experience in various open-source projects and 2 years working for Macromedia (now owned by Adobe™).

I have lived in Germany, Australia and many different States in the USA. I am originally from Sydney, Australia and I am presently living in Brisbane(Australia). I am married to the love of my life and have two very handsome sons.

I am presently working on some of my own projects, including, theme designs and plugins for WordPress, creating a grid computer network and a flash encryption software. I am also interested in Peer defense systems, reading non-fiction (on those rare days that I have time to myself) and being with my kids and enjoying what they enjoy.

I believe strongly in providing quality designs at reasonable prices. I believe that design is an important part in the development of any website. I use only the industry standard software to create my designs, like Adobe™ Photoshop, Macromedia Flash and WordPress. I am proficient in the use of Photoshop, Flash, HTML, XHTML, Java, CSS and PHP. It is important to me to be reliable and follow ethical business practices when dealing with my clients.

WordPress is an open source blog tool and publishing platform powered by PHP and MySQL. It's often customized into a Content Management System (CMS). It has many features including a plug-in architecture and a template system. WordPress is used by over 14% of the 1,000,000 biggest websites.
In 1987, Thomas Knoll, a PhD student at the University of Michigan began writing a program on his Macintosh Plus to display grayscale images on a monochrome display. This program, called Display, caught the attention of his brother John Knoll, an Industrial Light & Magic employee, who recommended Thomas turn it into a fully-fledged image editing program.
